ASUU: The FG is accused by Obidike Chukwuebuka of returning students to school and boosting education.

 JUST-IN: ASUU STRIKE UPDATE

Obidike Chukwuebuka accuses the FG of sending pupils back to school and improving education.

Obidike
Obidike Chukwuebuka is a Nigerian politician and an entrepreneur

In the wake of failed negotiations and counter-efforts by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which has kept Nigerian students at home for the past four months, Hon. Obidike Chukwuebuka, a human rights and accountability advocate, has urged the Federal Government to send students back to school and improve the country's educational system, noting that education improves the economy.

In a statement, Obidike declared definitely that the higher their education and achievements, the better their employment chances. "People who grew up poor but were educated have a great possibility of changing their lives, contributing to a reduction in poverty rates in society." Since education aids economic growth, it is beneficial to countries.

It's all about gaining knowledge and being able to apply it wisely to our lives while also improving the lives of others.

"Education is critical in today's culture. To be able to contribute to society, one must learn about culture, history, and other vital aspects. People are molded into leaders not just via their mastery of (college) courses, but also through their demonstration of how to lead with emotions and authentic principles. People that are well educated can quickly distinguish between good and wrong, which aids in the reduction of crime. Bad things are happening all across the world, and only capable leaders can lead us in the right direction.

"Digital education allows people and organizations all over the world to connect."

All education facilitates communication with individuals and organizations all over the world. There are no longer any borders. "Being able to interact and share ideas with people from different countries and cultures broadens our perspectives and allows us to better understand and respect one another," Obidike added.

Since February, the Academic Union's industrial action has hampered academic operations at public universities, with multiple meetings ending in dead ends, demonstrating the government's inability to return students to their lecture halls.

"As a result, I demand that the federal government send pupils back to school."
