Terrorists have threatened to kidnap Nigeria's most important citizen just a few weeks after their attack on President Muhammadu Buhari's convoy in Katsina State, according to Daily Trust.

Prior to Sallah, a presidential advance team's convoy was ambushed as it traveled to Buhari's hometown of Daura.
The attack, which the presidency claimed was repulsed, left two people injured.
The assault on the convoy took place on the same day that the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) raided Abuja's Kuje Prison and released around 800 captives, including all the terrorists held there.
The train kidnappers were described as being ecstatic when the Kuje prisoners were freed in a Daily Trust article.
The terrorists who kidnapped more than 60 people off the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28 vowed to kidnap and kill both Buhari and Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, in a new video that Daily Trust obtained.
The terrorists also bragged about their plans to overthrow the government, execute the passengers still in their care, and sell out the others.
According to reports, several passengers were released after paying N100 million each.
One of the terrorists threatened to turn the area into an abattoir if the authorities didn't agree to their demands.
"This is our message to the government of Nigeria; by God's help, you will see your leaders; your senators and governors will appear before us. You have seen these individuals here. We will keep some of the ones you see here as our slaves and sell them off, exactly as our Imam previously instructed you to do," he continued.
He continued in Hausa, saying, "We'll sell these people as slaves just like the Chibok girls who were sold off. We'll kill the ones we need to kill and sell the rest if you don't comply with our demands. El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here by the grace of God.
